Gravestone Photographs Resource: send a message to someone who requested a photo

Send a message to the person who requested a photo of the grave monument of William Dawson with the following comment:

My Great (4 times) grandfather was William Dickinson from Stainburn. His sister was Christiana Dickinson and she married Benjamin Walker in June 1800 at Kirkby Overblow - also of Stainburn. Elizabeth, wife of William Dawson was their daughter.Through this link I have recently been exploring her and her Dawson family, initially not realising the significance of the Dawson link. I think I have now exhausted the work on Thomas Galloway Dawson and his descendants, roll on Martha Ann and the rest!!I have gathered quite a catalogue of media relating to the Dawson family which I presume you will already have. I have not sought actual birth, marriage and death certificates but I do have the data to get hold of these. If any of this might be of use to you please let me know. Also, I have prepared a 6 page report on Richard Dickinson, Christiana's father, which includes a section on her and Benjamin. You are very welcome to a copy if that would be of interest. There is a memorial gravestone in the graveyard in Stainburn which also includes some of their offspring. RegardsJohn Rolfe-Dickinson
